Job Description

  • Proactively follow up on sample build and new product plans to ensure timely design and delivery of tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process of tools, jigs, and fixtures; promptly address any issues, implement improvements, and update design documentation as required.
  • Develop high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective jig and fixture designs that meet production needs and quality standards.
  • Compile and review design drawings; collaborate with Quality Control Engineers to verify completed tools, jigs, and fixtures for usability and identify necessary modifications or enhancements.
  • Standardize component designs and fixture/jig layouts to optimize performance, reduce costs, improve quality, and streamline production processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operational issues, continuously improve processes, and ensure achievement of targets related to safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of new process technologies, equipment upgrades, and project initiatives.

Job Requirement

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of experience in jig/fixture/tooling design and manufacturing.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, or SolidWorks; familiar with machining and assembly processes.
  • Basic G-code knowledge is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read technical English documents.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
